Dj Ju, has been scorching auditoriums, clubs, banquet and concert halls for an impressive 3 decades. The seasoned vet got his first feel for the turntables as a 6th grader in the school cafeteria. His teachers provided him with the library turntables, Ju brought his records to school and the rest was history! Ju knew immediately that turntablism was in his future. He recalls saying to him self, “I could do this for the rest of my life”. He was right. Ju has been manipulating cross faders every since. At an early age Julius (DJ Ju) was engulfed in music. He was
cultured and primed in his very own backyard. He reminisces and recalls his mother always having parties. “She used to always let me play the 8 tracks at the parties”, he says. Here is where he learned rhythm & timing, breaks & breakdowns. With those 8 tracks, young Ju learned how to control the climate and flow of the dance floor. He loved it. This is where he excelled.
